yep over more than one page of bashing the normal for Maxima.org here lately....how can anyone hate a car, paint job, rims, lights etc, etc? weird...to hate a thing..we all have opinions..all these I think coments is exactly what it is you/I think which is normal but others opinions don't matter....when a person buys a mod or puts something on his/her car it is what they want on the car...if you want to put a new paint job on your car like Kawasaki Green what can anyone on here do about it? nothing..life goes on.....all of this bashing if done face to face would bring on a fight.... how many of you have every saw a guy and walked up to him in a serious manner and said man your car is the ugliest thing I have ever seen? and started puking all over the ground in front of him about how much his car made you sick? huh? tell me..huh? like I said think about what you are commenting on...the fact of the matter is we buy what we want and can afford to put on our cars..and if you wanted to put 21" rims on your car what can any of you guys do about it literally?.........nothing........bashing accomplishes nothing........it's sad the org is becoming a place of discouragement...I don't bash...I state my opinion if is positive if my opinion is negative and I don't like it..I just move on..and so should you..or atleast be a llittle tactful on constructive crticism..we all are proud of our cars..in some way or another and when someone flat out bashes it it's get's personal.............just my thoughts and personal opimion on the org and it's latest string of bashing and critiscism....

relax, why are you so concerned, it's not your car anyway. But honestly, as far as I can remember, this is THE ONLY Maxima whose looks I have ever bashed here on the .org, one that sure deserves to be bashed. I highly doubt it's coincidental that 95% of ppl here think it's ugly.

Anybody have a bottle of Kikkoman? Toooooo much crap...The kit is nice, but the headlight brows don't fit the rest of the front, and honestly, neither does the rest of the front. Drop the heavy chrome, loose the fenders and the hood and you've got a sweet max. The lines just don't match each other and it gives me a headache looking at it for more than a few seconds. Okay, keep the hood, but still loose the fenders and the bling-bling's. Right now it's an 8 on the Hondariffic scale.

 

You guys that are doing all the bashing need to post pictures of your cars I bet there is nothing special about them. I don't know about you but I am tired of seeing Maximas that look exactly like mine except for maybe the wheels. Whoever owns that Maxima never have to worry about walking into a parking lot and going to the wrong car cause someone else has done theirs just like his. He has done something most of you is afraid of and that is be the first or one of the few that has mods that no one has. Don't get me wrong the Max also looks good simple and classy but it can also appear to the younger generation. We should love the fact that our cars look good in almost any case whether it be stock or totally modded.

You know, you're absolutely right. I shouldn't have an opinion, and nobody here is allowed to say, "That poor Max looks like ****!!" Hey, I don't have pics of my car up because it's a work in progress, not to mention I drive it back and forth to work everyday and can't afford to go messing around with it. Ohh, and if I parked a car like that in the parking lot for my job, it would be stripped before I even walked out of the lot. But, since I haven't dumped a whole lot of money into pointless and ugly crap for my car, I have to keep my opinions to myself in this "Right to Free Speech Country". Unless this is London, and that is the Queen Mum's carriage, I can say whatever the hell I want about it, including it being a waste of money to be left in a garage and eventually sold to someone who will use it for parts. I pity cars like that. Constantly being changed, yet never fully appreciated. yeah, my Max is dirty, has lots of dings, needs new paint, new struts, and a new exhaust, but I love it, and I don't take offense if someone calls it a POS, because I respect my car because it gets me to work everyday. Also, if someone is going to do that to their car, they'd better be damn well ready to hear it, cause they're gonna get it. Keep in mind, whatever someone does with their money is their choice, but that doesn't leave them shielded from comments. When I can afford to retire my car as a secondary car, then I will do all sorts of stuff to it, but nothin like this one here. Face it, it's kinda fugly, and again I feel sorry for the car.


Don't take what I say personally, I've just got this problem with typing or talking what I'm thinking. It's actually quite annoying.

 

I don't even like Hondas, but they are getting more respect from me nowadays...altho there are still a huge number of ricers there are an increasing amount of clean Hondas.

That one's nice, but like I said, what someone does with their money is up to them, but I won't hold back on what I think when they are done wasting...I mean spending...their money. If I did ugly crap to my car, I'd expect someone to let me know. Hell, don't let someone drive around with crap on their car and make fun of them without them knowing.

ohh, now be nice!!! the effort was there, but it seems to me that it was probably a self made decision, with one big disappearance of the car, and it resurfaced looking like that. Consulting your peers, provided that they aren't dumber than you, is usually recommended before you spend that much on your car. Those rims were obviously not cheap, and are nice, for a black S600!!!

 

i think it will look better if he gets better front kit bc it's too long and if he get's diff rims and change the color

I wouldn't do that to my car, but it does look pretty cool. I don't like cars that jazzed up usually, but you gotta give it to him/her...it looks totally tricked out, totally complete.

 

jazzed up? Holes in your fenders and hood makes it jazzed up? painted chickenwire/mesh grills makes it jazzed up? The 5 spoke rims (that looked like webbed toes) are jazzed up? if he spent all that time and money on it, he could have alteast shaved the stock molding, handles, or antenna. Im just glad he didnt get a new wing...

 

Man this is funny. I saw this car on the website earlier today. I was walking down 5th avenue and 58th street today at 5:30 pm. Guess what car was next to me as I crossed the street. This one. I almost laughed. It was either this exact car or someone else trying to replicate it. Only difference it had some primer gray paint in the middle of the front bumper and hood. Looked like he was trying to install a hood scoop or something. Everything else was identical....looked much nicer in person than here....

Why don't YOU read. I never said you bashed my car in this thread. The comment you made was about our misunderstanding in my thread about my car. It could lead people to beleive I think that anyone who doesn't like my car is a racist. That is not true. I hope you know that. While I don't really care what people think of me either, I would rather they talk to me and form their opinion based on that rather than see what you said and form it on that. I also said you were very helpful with the advice you gave and thanked you for it many times, but that isn't going to be enough for me to turn my back and let you throw knives at it. And really, this conversation shouldn't have even took place anyway it being the thread wasn't about me and I had no posts in it at the time.
