Cruise Re-wire... now NO CRUISE! Help!

I followed the directions but my ACSD relay did not look like the one in the FAQ's write up. I used a 14 gauge wire with two male clips and the hardware was right but the application must have been wrong. I attatched the wires in slots 1 and 6, then 1 and 3, then 1 and 2, and 6 and 7 but not once did my cruise light stay on, and now I since I replaced the fuse and relay back to its original configuration, I have no cruise control! Here's a diagram of the relay's layout. What do I do? I have a 99 SE-L.

...but isn't it weird that my cruise no longer works even with the original relay in the socket?

Goodie! Now I have a new problem... The sunroof doesn't open or close. Having cruise on all the time doesn't seem like it's worth this heartache. What the hell is wrong!?!

Does one fuse control the windows, cruise control, and the sunroof? This is getting a little outta hand!

no buddy...first check the window fuses...then the cruise fuses...now...does your horn work? The reason I ask is that the Cruise and the horn are on the same circuit...

The horn works fine. These are the things not working since I tried the cruise re-wire:

1. Cruise control
2. All 4 windows
3. Rear window defroster

These all can't be on the same circuit, can they?

check your fuses...all of them. by hooking up random relays like an idiot caused you most likely to short something out. to keep you from mortally wounding your car, you have fuses in place at major important electrical connections. that would explain why the electrical blunder caused further problems with other parts of the car. CHECK THEM

no, but they can be on individual sepperate circuits. you mis-hooked the jumpers to SEVERAL relays, why dont you believe us that you could have blown more than one fuse? check them

Arrggghh... can you believe that all my problems came from this little bugger? Who'd have thought the cruise, windows, sunroof and rear defroster would all be powered by this 7.5v fuse??? And it's only labled "Electronic Parts"! Everything in the car is an electronic part!

Anyway, 3&5 and 6&7 worked and I am one happy fool. I'd llike to thank those who were patient enough and took the time to help me out. Now I have to figure what's up with my foglights...

But you see... the fuse that was blown wasn't any of the fuses that were labled for the sunroof, cruise, windows, or defroster. Each of those components has a fuse for it, and all were fine. Who'd have thought to pull the "Electronic Parts" fuse?
