O2 sensor tool

Has anyone succeeded in removing the downstream O2 sensor, the one after the cat for a '98? This is the O2 sensor slightly leaning on the driver side. There is not much room for using a O2 socket. Is this tool :

the only option?
Thanks for your suggestions

An open-ended 22mm wrench did the job on my 97 quite nicely.

I forgot to mention my 22mm open end wrench is just a bit too thick. It wedges against the exhaust pipe. I was thinking I may have to lower the pipes starting from the muffler, by disconnecting the few rubber hangers. This might give me the extra inch or 2 I need.
