Do your aftermarket mufflers sway back and forth when you go over bumps?

Anyway to fix it? they welded the hangers on and attached the hangers to some rubber hook things..is there a reason they did that?

Mine did that for a few weeks after it was installed. Took 4 or 5 visits before the shop got it right--at no extra charge to me. It can be fixed--you just need to be persistent with the shop. I think they may need to put another hanger on the muffler.

One of my flowmaster hangers broke. Damn that thing clucnked the car everytime I turned, hit a bump, floored the gas, etc. Very annoying after 2-3 days. I took it to another shop and the fixed BOTH hangers for me for $10. No more clankity-clank-clank for me

Mines does, i think its better when it has some movement because when you hit bumps or anything the hagers wont break. Try to get new rubber thingis to kee pit from shaking alot.
