I want to get a new Air Intake System. Not a CAI. Just a regular performance intake. Do you guys have any suggestions. I prefer to get one that will not make my ride any louder. I think its loud enough with my performance muffler.

there's the JWT intake and Stillen intake both or just "regular performance intake" if you don't want the sound do a search for intake. there's been post where people have modified their stock box.

don't get the JWT or Stealen if you don't want any louder. They will both increase noise levels, particularly under acceleration and especially at WOT.

Personally I like the sound of the intake and am considering changing my muffler once I add a Y pipe bc the muffler's the one making the most noise. While I like the sound now, I'm afraid that after the Y pipe it will be too loud for my taste.

Modify your stock airbox as mentioned above if you don't want increased db's.

Between JWT and Stillen, get the JWT. It does the job and is the cheaper of the two. It's a good quality product. Noise is not much of an issue. Compared to a y-pipe and/or cat back exhaust mod, the increase in noise is minimal on an intake.
