when i bought the car, I noticed residue and broken glass inside my headlight. I'm just now getten around to fixing it

anyone know how to easily remove the headlight assembly, and what do you recommend i do to clean it?

Take the corner light off, and you will see 2 screws. Take those out. Than on the inside of the engine bay you have two more screws to take out, just find the they are close to the grill it is mighty easy. Then just pull the assembly out.

IF ya want Take the metal clips off and pop them in the oven at 250 for about 10-15 min. Take a flat head screwdriver and put it between the lense and the gray housing. and and turno the flat head so it pushes the lense away form the housing very slowly.

Do what cha gotta and put it all back together.

do you remove the black part of the houseing also?

and what two bolts on the inside of the engine bay? I found one under the adjuster screw,

i thought i had everything undone, but it still won't come lose, and what do i do about the grill?

 

mine exploded too. i was going up this mountain pretty fast... cold out too. coulda been anything, but i ended up finishing up and coming back down w/1 light and 2 driving lights, which was still scary.

I took off my grill, then the corner lamp. Then it removed the headlight housing.

The two boltas are close to the radiatoor. On the passenegr side, one of the scres is right under the the little silver tube. They are much smaller than the ones under the corner light. you mihgt now want to play with the ajestment screws too much you can easily break your housing.
