CAn you swap a 97 grill on a 96

Can you put in the 97 grill on a 96 without changing the 96 bumper to a 97? thanks, sorry if this is a repost.

You need to trim the bumper a little, but it will fit.

you trim 1/4" off the bottom of the 97 grill( the chrome posts)and it will fit. Ive done it for someone

heh thanks, yea i know, but i dont feel like paying for a new bumper and painting it, its really not that big of a deal. I just planned on getting the 95-96 stillen kit, but i wanted the 97 grill, just to make it different

I feel the exact opposite. I bought a '97 bumper but when I put it on, I want to continue using my '96 grill.
