Intake for my max?

I have a 95 max with 100k on it and i was told different things... some people said its fine to put an intake in and some people have said its not good to mess with the car with mileage that high... anyone have any ideas? thanks

I say go for it. My friend has an '89 Taurus SHO with 125k miles and a bunch of mods...all performed in the last year, if his crappy ford can handle mods no problem, than I wouldn't worry about a Max (The VQ engine is awesome). Just make sure you keep up on the maitenience. That way everything will stay in working order.
