Air bag light now working.

Air bag light not working.
I went to use my Max today, and I noticed that my air bag light didn't come on. I tried the diagnose thing with the door switch, but it didn't do anything. I'm guessing (hoping) that maybe the bulb has blowen, is this likely the problem? Can I replace the bulb my self or do I need to take it to a dealer to be done? Or has something gone wrong with the air bag system? I checked the fuses, all were fine. Thanks for any help

I would take a look behind the cluster to see if the bulb had burned out, since you said you already tried the diagnostic air bag check. If I'm not mistaken, when I had my '95, I think the air bag light was actually a LED light, so it would last a very, very long time without burning out, like a normal bulb. Nissan recommends to have your airbags checked after 10 years on the life of the car. I had my '95 for 9 1/2 years before I got rid of it and never had a problem with the airbag system.
