foglights keep blowing
foglights keep blowing
hey all,
I tried doing the search on this, got to page 2 and gave up. Has anybody experienced their fogs (driving lights) blowing? Im on my third set now.
The first two sets that blew were stock Nissan wattage. The set I just put in now are Streeglows Xenon white HID's. When I take out the old bulbs, it doesnt look like the wires are fried, just a blown bulb. What can be the problem?
thanks as always,
Lance

Don't use 80Watt bulbs in your fogs. The light assembly is to small to dissapate the heat from them and thats why they blow quick.
A good name brand stock 55Watt bulb should last a few years.

I have the same problem. I replaced my stock fogs bulbs with PIAA crystal ION, and they only lasted 8mos, then I went with Candle Power Yellow 55 Watt H3 and they blew too. I'm just thinking of goign with yellow H3 HID.
