MY BABY REALLY FLIES ON THE HIGHWAY WHEN I AM DOING MORE THEN 60MPH BUT WHEN I ENTER THE CITY AND I AM DOING 30 - 40 MPH SHE REALLY SUCKS SOMETIMES I GET HESITATION WHEN I ACCELERATE AND MOST OF THE TIME SHE HESITATES AT TAKE OFF ON A RED LIGHT ( I HATE SEEING HONDA CIVICS TAKE OFF FASTER THEN ME ).

THIS PROBLEM STARTED JUST AT THE BEGINNING OF THE WINTER SEASON SO I DONT KNOW IF ITS THE COLD THAT MAKING HER DO THAT OR IF SHE HAS A PROBLEM, PLEASE GIVE ME SOME INPUT ON WHAT MIGHT BE THE ISSUE HERE

 

hesitation, hmm... spark plugs?

 

most people would say knock sensor is what your describing from the symptoms cause i doesn't trip the CEL light, it has to be extracted

 

first problem, turn off caps lock, its on, and it sucks...
Second, pull codes from ecu, sounds like knock sensor

My car always feels faster when its colder. And the intake (Still stock) sounds alot deeper and louder I would think the cold air should make it faster- its like having a cai for free!!

Low: -15 deg f

all auto trannys are going to hesitate alittle...

sounds like something else if its just been in winter though

yeah my engine light came on it was the code for the knock sensor so hopefully i will be buying a new one soon just got a new starter put on but really what does the knock sensor cause my car still pulls hard but people say it will pull harder
