problem with my Maxima

I have a 96 maxima, auto, 105,000 miles on it. Y-pipe, k&n filter.

Every time I go for a long distance (about 80 miles) the car starts to make a strange noise when I’m going at a lower speed (about 20 mph). It's screeching, like metal hitting a fan. Has anyone ever had this problem? I have no idea what it is, I think it's either coming from the front left of the car, but I'm not exactly sure. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

If you have a GLE, the brakes squeek much more than the other models. That's the same problem I have with mine. It's almost like they rub together at lower speeds but when I speed up it's fine. I got new brake pads and everything is cool now.
