Horn will not go off
I replaced my steering wheel with another wheel. Airbag pad sits fine inside the wheel, yet, when i reconnect the battery, the horn keeps giong off. i checked the airbag pad, and can hear the contacts clicking when i press on it, which means the contacts are not touching when the pad is resting (not being depressed).
I am not sure if the problem is becuase of the wheel, or if there is a problem with something else. A while ago when my battery died, I was jumping my car from another car, and once the jumper cable connections were made, the horn kept going off (even with the doors unlocked).
Is there something I need to do to reset the alarm system before reconnecting the battery? BTW, I do have a remote start installed on the car also. please help!
