skyline front with a drop?

I just recently installed the skyline front bumper and i have a stock suspension but im having some trouble getting in driveways and going down roads that dip. I knew that i was going to have to be careful with like those cement blocks that are in front of parking spaces. but anyways i was just wondering if anybody has that kit with any type of drop and if so, how do you get around? another inch and half lower and the thing would just scrape the ground. i mean thank god i got the urethane because mine would of cracked several times otherwise. im getting in the habit of angling in driveways that ramp up but are there any other tips besides just being very careful?

Since you have the urethane kit you will mostly scrape it, not crack it, which is not a big deal. Don't go with more than a 1.5" drop though or you will be regretting it in NJ.

I have the fiberglass skyline kit, with eibach lowering springs, and 18" rims....I just have to be very careful...and I just cant drive everywhere I used to be able to drive...dips/lips really give me a hard time...I just go really slow and always at an angle

I'm lowered on Eibachs with a Stillen lip and I have only touched ground 3 times in the year I've had it, with only minor underside paint scratches. Driving a low car isn't really that hard to do. It just takes practice. I can easily get up the steepest of driveways as long as it's wide.

Then again I smacked a rabbit running across the freeway yesterday doing 70 and it put a nice 3" crack in it where the lip flexed. Damn.

Thinking about going back to stock suspension because of this.

Be very careful! I cracked the corner of my Stillen lip when I hit a dirt incline.

i have a couple of buddies that have fiberglass kits on some other cars which are slamed but the thing that they did was spray the lip of the kit with that bed liner material and painted over it and i haven't seen a crack on that and they have had some major srapage

I was just about to post the same question. I am thinking about getting a fiberglass skyline kit from RedLine Max. (along with M-Fenders ans CF hood) and i have GC with AGX's and i like to lower it to a finger gap. I already drive really careful and even go around man hole covers. Im in RI any one think Ill have problems? and has can anyone tell me about Red Line Max and there products... good fitament and quality etc.
(sorry to ask questions in this post, just pertain to the same question I have and didnt want to post basically similar question)
Thanks

are you running on stock tires? i dropped mine with sprints and i'm running AE 17's. i haven't even put my bodykit on yet and i'm scrapping. that's cus colorado has such crappy roads. oh well. sprints drop lower than other springs like eibach or h&r. good luck on not hitting anything though. just pay attention and take everything at an angle.

I got my skyline front bumper from there. I haven't seen her M fenders in person, but should be ordering them come income tax time and her c/f hoods look and fit good. A lot better then my fiber images hood. I've heard some stories on fitment of the front bumper though. My shop really didn't have that much trouble w/ my bumper.
