is this normal??? or do i have a problem?

lately i started noticing that when my car is in nutral and idling the rpms are 650 or so and when i turn the heat on it goes up to like 800 - 850 is that normal?? i don't know if it goes up with ac on but when heat is on than it goes up and doesn't fall below 800 while standing

i used to have something like that, it wasn't when i turned on my a/c or anything, my rpm's just used to fluctuate while idoling. But it stopped doing it, and has been fine ever since.

yup your nice and normal, but it happens mostly when its cold out for me

If you have an automatic climate control, you should use it at economy mode when heating. Otherwise the dumb system turns on the A/C.
