when putting in cd player ended up losing the two black ends to my vent...
the piece that holds them together...
heres pic

have looked in few junk yards...cant find any and nissan wants me to pay for the whole top part for $120...
anybody have any ideas or help?

maybe just keep looking in junkyards

In addition to local junkyards, watch Ebay each week for someone selling dash parts. If you don't see the actual (top) part you need send a private email since some of these sellers are just parting out things. Good luck.

I bought mine at a junkyard. The whole piece that has the two vents, digital clock, hazard button, and defroster button. They wanted $35 dolllars because of the clock. I told them I did not need it, so they took it off and charged me $20 dollars for the whole thing minus the digital clock.

I like to go there once in a while to see what they have. I have bought many trim pieces there, door handles and such. My car is dark gray and black on the inside, I just wanted to add more black, and the junkyard is a good place to buy that stuff at a cheap price .
