Foglights keep frying the fuse

Recently I tried to take my foglights apart and was unsuccesful. In either case I resealed what I could put my fogs back in my car and now when I turn on the foglights they stay on for about 5 minutes and then they burn the fuse. I even tried a 20 fuse and it still burns that out. Does anyone know have an idea about why so much power is being surging through the fuse to make it burn out?

i had the same problem 2 days ago....i bought new bulbs put them in, worked for 2 days, and stopped working.....before taking the fogs out, i checked the fuse....it was bad...put in the new one, with my hood open turned the fogs on, and i saw a spark, burned the fuse again, i upgraded to a 20, turned it on, once again it burned....took my fogs out, both bulbs were no good, put my old bulbs in, put in a 15 fuse back in, and they work fine.....

my bulbs were bad, and for some reason it kept burning the fuse when i turned the fogs on.... check your bulbs and maybe try to put new ones in... they're about $3 at autozone......

good luck.
