Clear out tail lights

Is there a good website (besides vqpower.com) with a good write up about clearing out the amber out of the tail lights?
VQPOWER.com only got the dalas mod that comes with pictures

I think that the next best alternative is "redding-out" the amber lense of the tails. Here's a good how-to. However, I prefer painting the outter piece of the tail lenses with a transparent candy apple color for better matching. It's all a matter of preference on different individuals.

becuse their tails were made from all clear lenses the were then painted red on the brake light part... there's no way to do this with stock tails...

Okay, I went all around my city today trying to find that tape that is supposed to red out my amber on tail lights. No one ever heard of anything like that. Does anybody know who carries that tape and what does it look like?

Or is painting the taillights better?
