Fan Issue started tonight. Help!

so.. i went to start my car and everything was fine. Turned on the heat and nothing blows out when i switched it to 1. Nothing on 2 and nothing on 3. The only way the heat would come out of the vent is if i turned it to 4.
Does anyone have any ideas or thoughts on this? Let me know. Its cold out there!

Same thing is happening to me so i asked my mechanic friend the problem. He said that some resistors in the 1,2,3 shorted and i need to replace them.

But i have no idea on how to do that

Check the FAQ's I think theres somethin inn there about that. I think it has somethin to do with the "valves" that restrict the air when it's in the 1, 2, or 3 setting, 4 has no restrictions its just blowing the air out thats why thats the only one that works. I'm pretty sure it said somethin like that, go check it out.

It's about $20 for the part and it's two screws right under your glove box. 5 minute fix.
