SE-L... is it worth it?

I found a great red 99 Nissan Maxima SE-L (auto, oh well) with 43k miles for around $13k (I can EASILY bring it close to 11,500), but I wonder, is the extra money worth it for the SE-L? What advantages does it have against a regular SE?

Damn, I wass hoping someone would say LSD was included heheh. oh well, I suppose its worth going for cause of the lower miles and its fully loaded. Ill see how low I can get the price since its priced at the level of 2000 Maxima GLEs, its seriously the lowest milege 4th gen in my area.

I would, but I really perfer the lower miles. With having only 66k miles on my 96 TL I totalled, my insurance added $1300 to the check for the lower miles, plus, I never had one problem with that car, lower miles really do pay off.

Not to mention, that you live quite far from me, I located this max like 15 mins from me, so its easier... sorry, you do have a nice max though.

BTW, do you notice if cops pick you out outta the other cars on the road because of the bright red color? or have you not had any problems with that? thats the only thing i worry about..

thats ok man, i feel you with the low miles aspect of it, infact, that is part of the reason why i want to get rid of mine. i was just putting it out there for you. and thanks for the compliments. i do notice that i get picked out more... but that is only because i have blue lights inside my car that pluse to the music. when i had red bulbs up front for turn signals/sidemarkers/cornerlights i was getting pulled over almost every single freakin day. it was so annoying. now i am back to stock. i am just glad i don't have anyhting else besides an intake... cops over here are a PITA.

but i really love my car... especially since it is so rare. it gives you a special feeling knowing not many people have a car like yours. i would say go for it, but try and get him down in price like you said. 13g is alittle too much...

G/L

as you should have been pulled over. it's illegal to have those colors up front, and . don't get me wrong, i think your car looks awesome, but when i see lights like that on a car, it totally kills any respect i had for it.

bluec, if you want the car, then go for it! they're a rarity and look hot!

I think LSD may have been an option for 99 auto, perhaps someone can deny or confirm?

Well, i liked them! they matched perfectly with the color of the car. and to make things better, i didn't have to buy expensive bulbs to match my headlights and fogs. but it doesn't matter anymore. o well. i will stop whoring this guys thread up now.
