Recently, on a road trip to Canada I noticed my hood bounced up and down a little bit. Kinda scary, because I thought it would unlatch and nail the windshield...but is there any way to tighten it?

 

There are two black rubber stops on the ends of the radiator support. They are threaded and can be twisted to make them sit higher or lower. In your case you need to make them sit up higher so your hood is held tighly against the lock. That will stop the hood flutter your seeing.
