Quick question about front bumper

Three months ago i got in to a small fight with the rear end of a 89' accord. His car walked away with a scratch. My car had $1800 worth of front end damage. I'm only 18 so my funds are limited. So instead of claiming it to the insurance i started to pay for it out of pocket. First on my list was a new bumper cover. Instead of stock i went with a skyline ground effects bumper. It sat in my room til i had enough money to get it painted. Chirstmas comes along and i get money to paint it.$200 So newyears eve me and my brother tried to put it on. We ran in to problems had to stop and put the stock cover back on. This weekend i tried again to put it on. Got it mounted and saw the grill had a huge gap between it and the bumper, foglight holes didn't match up, and the over all fit was kind of sloppy it would diffently need bondo and touch-up paint. So i was really mad and i was thinking of bagging the project and buy a stock bumper and put this one on ebay. What do you guys think?

Thanks

I "think" that the skyline kit was made to fit 97-99 grills and since a 95-96 grill is smaller than a 97+ that explains the big gap

also to add, the foglights are different from a 95 than 97+ so that explains that too. you will need a grill and foglights from a 97 to get everything working
