SON of a B***H!!!!! Can you guys help???

Check it out, today me and my girl got in a fight in the car. And when I get ****ed I drive fast. (something having to do with feeling the speed, and power of the motor that helps me relax) Anyhow, I floored it, and all of a sudden my CHECK engine light came on. I shlt my pants, crap!!!! the car still runs good. I havent felt anything wrong with it, only thing I think is different is the shift, its takes longer to shift (goes further). What could it be>???? I tried taking it to AUTOZONE, so that could do that free diagnostic test, but they didnt have the plug, since my is a 95, they have to special order it, compared to 96 and up which are universal. Man this blows, they told me to reset the car, and maybe the CHECK engine would turn off. What should I do, I'am gonna take it to the mechanic tomorrow, but still.....................................Thanks alot guys.

you sure you notice a diffirence in shifts and not just imaging it? I know I sometimes think sometimes diff with my car when its really not. That engine light could have been triggered by a bad ks or O2 sensor. If I give my car to much gas my bad O2 sensors would trigger the light. But read the sticky in this forum, it tells you how to get the engine light code and tells you what it means. Its real simple, all you need is a flat head screw driver.

1. Check the thread in the FAQ.
2. Use it to diagnose the code.
3. Click the link at the bottom to see what the problem is in detail.
4. Post back with the details.
5.
