Exhaust question

My rear mufler is about to fall apart and I need to get a new one. I was thinking I might as well get a b-pipe with it too. I don't want no super loud catbacks, but I liked the catback from frankencar.com for 5th gen. Does anybody know where I can get something like that for a 4th gen, and for a reasonable price.

If I were you I would not get a b-pipe but instead another oem muffler and y-pipe if you dont have one yet. You would get more bang for the buck. y-pipe = 18hp-$160 vs. b-pipe = 4hp-$140.

Most aftermarket mufflers drone at certain rpm's but if you dont mind the exhaust noise then go for it. Im still debating on weither not to keep my aftermarket setup or go back to stock. I did not notice any gains untill I added a warpspeed y-pipe and now after 3000rmps pulls noticeable harder.

I know I'm ordering a y-pipe tommorow prolly
My mufler is about to fall apart so I was thinking about taking care of the whole exhaust system at once.

BTW I don't want non of the big *** exhausts with huge tips. I'm looking for something that they use on the beemers. Which makes the car sound nice.

i have the obx cat-back, which is kinda loud the 1st week or so and then quiets down. If ur looking for not too loud, but good sounding go with the obx. I dont have a y-pipe, but i hear it makes yo' exhaust much louder. Overall, just keep a resonator on it to keep it from sounding crappy
