yeah, no crap... thats why he is made this thread in the first place.

do not make a post if you can't help the person out, or have anything constructive to say. freakin newbies.

anyway, in regards to your problem... have you attempted to take off your door pannel and see if there is a short anywhere? that would be your best bet. i think you door light blowing out may be in a unrelated issue... but it could also be that it blew out because there is a short somewhere.

my first action would to be take off the door, and check your wires if i were you. let us know how you make out.

Yeah man, sounds like you have a speaker line contacting a 12V line or grounding out. Sounds like the same thing is happening to your light. Has your door been 'sprung' or hyperextended in the past? That can cause a lot of electrical issues if the wires get pulled apart.

But in any case I would guess that some wires got tangled up in the window track... or the snake (big clump of wires) that spans between the door and the chassis has a couple shorts in it.

I would try opening the door all the way and lightly giggle the snake... if no change, pull the door panel off and, unfortunately the vapor barrier and look for loose and/or damaged wires inside the door.

Hope this helps... good luck.
