Can't get the keyless to work after I program it. The hazards will flash twice but when it comes time to use the keyless nothing works. Any thoughts on this?

 

does your car have the "security and comfort" package? i believe, if you have a security light (next to the cruise control switch) it works. if not, you cannot use the keyless entry.

 

are you talking about oem or aftermarket? if you installed an aftermarket system and your lights flash but your locks aren't working, you need to program your locks for double pulse.

 

My 99 se has the security light by the steering colum but the dealer said mine doesn't have it because they tried to program it and nothing happened, where abouts is the keyless brain, ive heard in the trunk but???

There is a step by step post regarding the keyless entry thing...If the light flash only after inserting the key ,but not after pressing lock button, the battery in the fob may be gone or the remote itself may be bad...If the lights flash AFTER pressing the lock button, you should be ok...
About the keyless entry brain, is located in the trunk,on pass side wall just a bith higher than the jack compartiment...
If your car is a 99 GXE (used to have one) the car doesnt have the remote entry feature (even that the red light is there ,and blinks).

 

Yeah, I have the comfort and conveinence package. Still having problems the keyless battery is good, like I said the hazards will come on after hitting the door lock on the remote but after that nothing. Still can't figure it out.
