My cup holder in my 98 Max keeps popping out. Is there an easy fix, rather than replacing the whole console. It is a pain in the butt, and looks goofy when it is sitting in there sideways!

 

Try bending bending the metal clip outwards. Mine pops out only half as much after I did that. But if anyone has a better idea please share.

 

glue, expoxy resin, screws.

 

I took all the clips out...it sits in there nicely and then when I need to take the holders out...i.e. to drain out spilled coffee or to run it under the faucet to clean...it just comes out with no effort.

The holder does not move or comes out at all.

Are you talking about the one in the center console?
