As many of you know my car isnt running right now. One of my friends has a 96 that got hit on the side, and the insurance is going to pay to get a new motor trans and alot of other parts. I wanted to know if the 96 engine trans are a direct swap on the 95?

they are the same. in researching my 5sp swap, only minor things changed between 95 and 99. 95/96 are identical. let me know if you need any 95 parts, i have a whole car left over from the swap.

 

yes they are the same. i got parts also like axles if you need them. and also other parts.
