Got bored...made new boots!

Well, I had the day off from work today so I got a little bored. Seeing as it is insanely cold out, I had to stay inside and find something to do. I remembered I started a project a while back so I'd continue. I had really bad shift and e-brake boots, they were ripped and torn....so anyway. I stopped by Joann fabric and bought some pleather. I cut all the stitching and ironed the old boot flat. Then I transfered the pattern to the pleather and started cutting and sewing. This was my first time sewing, but it went good and the new boots look so good! The hardest part was getting the metal wire positioned on the e-brake boot. It was well worth the time, and looks so much better than buying a generic one
