MAF adapter

I just purchased an ebay BOMZ intake. The guy sent me the wrong MAF adapter. Where can i find an adapter for cheap? This shop charged me $40. That's ridiculous, thats almost how much I spent for the intake. Can someone help.

also what size should the filter be? What size should the opening to go over the MAF be? Because i was sent a filter with a 3" opening and it goes inside the MAF i was sent with the intake. Isn't the opening of the filter suppose to go over the MAF?

if you have a bench grinder, you could grind down the square flange of the MAF so that it would become a round tube and your filter just slip right over it. The MAF screen will have to be removed also. That is what I did with mine

I did that also, but you better be sure your keeping your max cause its a lot a $$$ to get a new one. A 3" filter should fit perfect on the hacked MAF. If not get the one from cattman.com.
