hey, just wanted to say that your maxima looks nice...! I'm such an idiot for not going with 18s. Are you on Eibach's still? I'm on H&R's and 17s and I wish the wheels looked a little more bigger! ahhhh.

but yea i broke my lip too and had to get a new one. I didn't feel like fixing it so I sold it.

I f*cked up my lip as well last year. It took me almost a year to get it exchanged. So right now my new lip is chilling home, waiting for the snow to clear.

Ya, I plowed some snow today. So far so good with it in the winter, although we'vd only had about 1' of snow so far, all within the last 2 weeks.

Thanks, your car looks great. I use to have 17s, but I like 18s a lot better. Stillen did exchange my lip for free. It was quick and painless. I did pay for the paint though.

I plow with a Stillen 97-99 lip. Seems to have a good spread <--->and its quite flexible too. Never heard of it cracking. Its still in primer though.

whoa, STILLEN exchanged it for free even though the lip was cracked? What did you have to do in order to exchange it? I didn't buy my lip directly from STILLEN, since I got it used. Did you order yours directly from STILLEN or from another performance parts company?

I just sent them a picture. Depands on how badly it's demaged. The guy told me that they were looking if it was hit. Since they didn't find anything it was OK. I just cracked another lip, but I can bet this time they will not honor the warranty. I turned into a street with black ice and my car went into a skid, I tried to recover, but not before the front left corner caught a chunk of hard snow that was frozen. Needless to say the left side has like 4 cracks in it and a bit of the paint came off. There goes another $200+paint.

I got a Stillen lip waiting in the garage for me, but I was wondering how does it connect to the car? Is it only the screws behind the wheel well?

Same here. My car is in the garage until warmer weather prevails. I've only put 500 miles on my Maxima since September!! I usually start it and warm it up for about 20 minutes or so once a week. Don't want the lip getting damaged.

yes they do have a life time warranty. i had my stillen kit over three yrs
and except for scratching up the paint on the lip from plowing through the snow i've never had a problem.. also they dont break easy .i had a accident with the front of my car and i just sanded and repainted the lip and just stuck it back on. stillen will honor your warranty if it doesn' t
break in a accident..but i dont understand how so many of you have problems with this. i live in n.y. with all the potholes and bad weather
and i haven't had a problem..unless you have a fiberglass bumper.like the old kaminari kits, aah anybody remember those.. had one on my 88 max broke it every winter.. never again, stillen all the way..

phew... no problems with my kit yet... And yea, i've been snowplowin like a mad man... I can't park on the streets after a snowstorm anymore, for fear of tearing the lip off the front, or cracking it. Scraping is alright, because come spring time its time for a repaint anyway, along with other things
