Intake Gurgle

I've had a PR CAI minus the "Cold Air" section on my car for nearly a year and I've started to notice a funny sound recently.

The sound is a light and irregular gugrling noise, almost like someone gargleing water. It generally happens under lightish throttle (enough to provide modest acceleration but just before the intake starts to 'growl'), particulalry when the engine and weather is cold and is fairly reproducable under these conditions.

I cleaned my TB over the summer and switched to a K&N cone filter from the MonsterFlow foam filter that came with the Intake.

Anyone else ever hear this gurgle noise?

Anyone got any ideas? I don't seem to lose any power, its just an odd noise that doesn't sound like it should be happening.

No, its definitely not normal. The sound has always just been a nice regular sounding growl, but now it sounds like something's not quite right.

Yes there is something different when it's cold. Car's intake and exhaust sound different in the cold because the air is much more dense. This is noticed better in very cold conditions. The intake will be the biggest change. Noise is vibration and things vibrate at different frequencys at different temperatures.
