Yeah, what are you getting or are you putting the stock rims back on. And I just thought of something, that will leave me as the only 4th Gen with 5Gen wheels.

Yes they are the 17' SE wheels. I really like the way they look. Looks kind of stock. I also just did the H&R\Tokico setup and it really compliments the rims more.. Sorry you can't be the only one!!!

hey,sweetsound,did you say Ls 400?

man i do rispect all you done with your max ,the light job and the wheel upgrade and that massive sound project after it all was starting to get real good your max look,s great but ther,s alway,s room for improvment..now this cant be all you want to do to your maxima ..is it?? do you plan to keep it or sell it? cuz say if you sell it and you do get that nice Ls 400 and say 2 week,s down the road a maxima pulls up next to you since you do know the Ls has more power you decide to race him and it wooooop,s you a new tushy what then ?? just something you might wana consider dud i did not intend this to be a put down in any way .i think your hard work with the maxima is noticable .ok .peace

I never bought the Maxima as much as i did...Maxima.org...this website. If i'd never found this place i would never start moddin my max. My original plan was to buy ls400 like a 90-91, but once i sell the max i will get a 92-93 ls instead. you have to drive one to know what iam talking about. you feel like you own the road in it. plus its ridiculously quiet and soaks up all the bumps. those are the qualities i look for in a car. BTW, ls400 has a 9.9 reliability rating on edmunds.com Thats damn near perfect. Maxima is more of a drivers car that i want it to be. LS is just power and very smooth ..smooth tranny, smooth engine, quiet as a tomb...Laters peeps...go ahead and flame me...

flame thrower............then why....

did you "waist" all of your time putting the awesoome stereo in the Max if you knew you would be changing to a Lex....a Lex is cool to get too...but all of the time spent on the Max.....you WILL MISS your Max I promise you.....but it's up to you do what you want you have been cool...on here will you still be donw with us......? What is the Max missing that the Lex has? name ohh I drive a Lex.....a Lex is a prestige car and high maintenance cost for parts...etc....I am just concerned...have you ever sold or got rid of something and 2 weeks...6 months later you could kick your own butt for doing it? dang I should have kept this or that....something to think about....or are "tired" of the Max...? has it let you down in any way or come up short on your expectations?????

ls400 is smoother and quieter than any max can ever be. to me it's simply much nicer on the inside in just about every aspect. i love those lexus electroluminiscent gauges. and the only thing max has that lex has a little less is phat torque 0-40mph. Lexus torque just comes on smoothly, not quick and sudden like max.

Good luck and good choice dude. JUST DON'T MOD IT. IMO, Lexus LS400 only look good stock. That means no new rims, no body kits, no lowering. And good luck selling the Maxima.
