Whenever I press the brakes pretty hard, I notice that the seat moves forward (not alot but you do feel it move) just a bit and of course let go of the brake and it moves back again. Does this happen to any one else? I realize that the seat moves along a gear I guess I,m just wondering if it,s normal or not. TYIA

My car is as old as yours and I have never experienced that.

I assume that you have checked the four bolts holding the seat to the chassis. I had my seats out a week ago to put in new covers and the mechanism for the power seat doesn't look that complex. I'll bet it wouldn't take you 10 minutes to have the seat out of the car and the plastic covers off of the sides. Let us know what you find.
