Thanks for the update. Last I heard they were gonna work on the code early in
Dec. This is my 2nd TS chip and no MIL's at all on my '97.

Strange sidenote - my scantool can't read from one of the front 02 sensors on the y-pipe using the TS ECU. Other 2 sensors read fine.

With Mevi - JWT
With out - TEchno

Wrong

With MEVI - JWT
Without - JWT

This one guy that does autocrossing has a dyno on his cardomain site with g-force (technosquare) ECU and he gets like 3 more hp by 15-20 torque, and there is more power band. I guess it's not bad but I got to wait awhile until I get it. My last perfomance mod.

I really don't want to give these guys my money but after tomorrow, there will be no other option. I'm giving Cheston until tomorrow to reply to me on getting his car over to Techno so they can start testing.

What specifics are you looking for from Technosquare? Raised Rev Limiter? If you give technosquare a ECU, try to find a later 96 ecu. I used a Nov 96 ECU on my car and didn't get a CEL.

I have a nice stock SE ECU for you if Cheston doesn't come through.. Haha.. =P

Is it a later 96?

How would we work out a deal? I'll have to get my 96 back from Techno.

I was going to have them raise the limiter but they needed Cheston to bring his Max down there to do it. Cheston's been out of town for work and focused on the Z.

400HP!!! Does anyone run that much power from their VQ's in the org? I remember reading a long thread about stacking mods ontop of one another and this guy who started the thread had a bad misconception about it and stated that 300hp is not hard to attain from bolt-on mods. But of course, that was proven false due to some performance losses on mod would cause over another. Anyhow, 300HP, sounds pretty hard to attain by fortifying the engine + FI, etc. 400HP???

As I mentioned earlier, people are revving to 7200 RPM with the stock valvetrain so 6900 RPM is a piece of cake for this engine.

Oh yes. Over 400HP to the wheels. You should go check out the Turbo/Supercharged forum sometime. You'll be pleasantly surprised

Sorry to get your hopes up. I was just messing with you. I was going to sell you my stock 97 SE ECU.. =P I guess that sarcasm didn't come through. =P Sorry about that. But definitely try to get a late 96.

Dude go to the Supercharged/Turbocharged forum. We've got people on their way to 500whp on stock motors. Hal is at like 476hp and 505tq right now.

I agree that JWT is the best way to go in terms of performance. But after trying to contact them for a month via phone and email I have not gotten a single response.

Do I have to go there myself and use a secret knock on the door to put my order in with my specs?

Maybe I should get a job with them and help out.

D

EDIT: Just got word that my VI arrived in the mail today

I hope they make one for the 97 with raised rev limiter. If they do make raised rev limiters in the future, would these be better than the JWT?
