I am without my Max for this week. The reason is that I am getting it painted. I already got everything done to it and my bro already started to paint it. Materials cost $300 and to rent a place to put clear coat on will be about $100. Plus have to get something for my bro. Not tha expensive(about $500-$600 bucks for getting the whole car repainted. Color is the 2k2 maxima dark burgundy or nissan calls it merlot. Sucks not to be able to drive it until he finishes painting it. Well my moms 99 I30 will have to do for now but man I miss my max. Also I added a OEM spolier and new rear bumper and will get fogs soon. Color is sick and will add black into the clear coat so it will even look more better(hope). Will post pics after done.

 

I was once without my car for a good while because the compressor had blown out. A good two weeks. I feel you man.

shush my differential bearings, 2 months, one week and it comes back with a fresh coat of paint shush!

 

I have been without mine driving for several months now...gets pretty depressing

 

just curious... where did you get your tranny from? and what symptoms were you having? i ask this b/c i got a tranny from PRT and they put a coat of grey paint on it.... and i never really found out what was wrong with my tranny.... it just a made a loud "whirling"(for a lack of a better description).... a bearing noise...??
