Who's got the Trenz grille installed?

And what do you think of it? I'm debating whether or not to get it, and I cant tell from the pics if it looks too chrome-wannabe-blingin' - some pics they look good, like a luxury car. Any first hand experiences with one? pics of theirs installed?
My max color is the deep evergreen, btw (dark-a$$ green, almost black)

I didn't like the polished look so I got it powdercoated gunmetal. I'm waiting until the weather gets better to install it.

My car is the same color as yours, only 2 of my friends know that it's actually green, all the rest along with everyone on the street, it's BLACK

I like both of the aftermarket grilles. I got the trenz because it has a aluminum look, and the s5 looks like its super polished, almost chrome.

I just got my trenz, and I too was thinking about having it a diff. color. I wanna see the pics of that gunmetal one when it's put on.

Also I had no fitment issues with the trenz but the guy I bought it from said he had custom brackets put on.

Also, every pic of the trenz grille i've seen make it look very shiny, when it's really not. It actually matches the color of the headlight/bumper light housings which looks really cool. (I'll try and and take a pic without the flash to show what I mean.)

Hmm I'm really liking the idea of the Trenz or s5 being a dark, soft gray color. I'd love to see pics of that if anyone has them.

I've spent all evening last nite looking at Maximas in cardomain.com for grille ideas. By far the S5 grille is the best looking!!! Too bad its only for 97-99 Maximas.

powdercoated. Spray paint won't last a week on the exterior of the car.

interestingly enough spray paint, depending on the type, will last more then a week on a car. as an example my buddy with a buick painted his tails a year ago and never clear coated them. they look almost the same as they did freshly painted. preparing the surface, paint type, and clearcoat are important.

I never had that good of luck with spray paint. Only thing that I spray painted are my spark plug cover and brake calipers. The color fade over time. I would have to repaint it every year to get that gloosy shine back.

95-96 is different than 97+

ohannon7 - I like the looks of the S5 better than trenz. Both my trenz and S5 I was able to install perfectly but the S5 seems to take more time to get perfect since its not as bendable as the trenz.

My opinion is that the trenz- (from a distance), looks too blurry since the bars are so small and so close together, it makes the whole grill look like a big silver blurry thing, you know what I mean?

It's the very same reason why the oem 97-99 grilles don't fit on a 95 bumper. The gap between the center of the hood to the part where the grille and bumper meets is taller on 97-99 Maximas. The width is the same though.
