"pics" shock spring combo please

I know there is a on-going debate about whats the best combo. I want to slam my max but, I have heard both positive and negative things about just about every combo there is. If anyone has any pics of their max lowered could you post them. Also is a camber kit required for lowereing? And the last thing which combo has shown the best quality?

if you want slammed you're gonna have to get Sprints (-1 coil in the rear), tein's (green springs not gold), or coilovers. good luck... i'd mate them all to kyb agx's.

Intrax....slammed and soft! Well sort of. I don't think you should lower the Max anymore then Progress (1.7" drop) just because of suspension travel. If you wanna slam it on drop springs get Tein S tech, other wise you could get Ground control coilovers.....Or pay out your butt for JIC. Out of any struts Konis are the best over all and Illuminas are the most comfy.

Intrax drop:

:o)

This pic. is when I had Intrax w/ stock shocks:

That was a nice 2 finger gap. I LOVED it. But I couldn't take the ride anymore. Now I have H&R/Tokicos with a dreaded 4 finger gap. But I love my ride/handling combo.

The maxima on H&R and KYB AGX:
BEFORE

AFTER

As you can see from the before and after pictures. This combo isn't slammed but gives you a conservative and comfy drop/ride. The 4x4 appearance is all gone. I love this set up it keeps me from saying 'DOH!" everytime i hit a bump.

Have the GC's and Tokico blue's, had it at the lowest setting and was really bad then raised the back 1/2 inch after it settled cause the back started to look droopy, ride was firm but not unbearable... I personally love it...

How bout a 3" drop from stock SE height. Still some wheel gap since the tires are 1.6" smaller diam.

re:spring combo

1st combo:
KYB AGX coupled with Sprint Springs Addco RSB & FSTB & Michellin tires
Awsome handling , body roll almost non existant nice agressive stance
ride was qiute harsh and winter driving was pure nightmare (KYB AGX way to stiff )

2nd combo:
Tokico HP's up front KYB AGX in rear , H&R springs ,FSTB & Kumho HP716 tires.
Handling wasn't as good as Sprints but ride was much more tolerable
during summer things were smooth and nice , but once winter came back...

3rd combo:
Tokico HP's up front , stock SE struts in rear , stock SE springs
Handling is all over the road , looks weird
but i just wish i'd never messed with it in first place and saved my $$$

My ride with Sprint/AGX is actually very smooth...feels like stock SE ride to me. The AGXs were originally set on 2/4 and taht handled like a dream, but the ride sucked. Set on 3/6 and the ride is like stock...but theres some bodyroll now =/

well it must be nice and worm in Cali to say that KYB AGX with Sprints at 3/6 feel like stock SE
Bring it down to Chicago in Febuary and it sure won't feel like stock.

Temperature changes affect KYB AGX like crazy.

The ride with the AGXs when its like in the 40s over here is noticeably worse...but nothing horrible. IMO anyway.
