Santa finally came to my house!!!

Actually is was shipped out on December 25 by Jason Mitchell and I only got it today. I'll be doing some custom work before installing it, so don't expect for any pictures of the install soon.

It's lighter than how the picture came out.

I'm polishing the MEVI top side only. (section that is visible when looking at the engine) Trimming of the MEVI cover a little. I"m doing a little port matching with my T.B. and the MEVI manifold. I've already started polishing it. I have a few pics on my cardomain. Just click on the WWW and go to page 7

You should do a write up on how to install it with pictures, most of us that want to get one will benefit from it, cause i sure don't have a clue on how to install it, well the wiring parts but everything else is easy.

You live in Hawaii, you suck. Are you trying to be the fastest from one side of the island to the other? I am not being mean, I am just jealous.

Nice job polishing. What tools/sandpaper are you using? I tried for hours and couldn't get even close to resembling that so I just painted the b!tch.

It takes alot of patience to polish parts like the MEVI because of the rough surface. You have to cut the surface down flat and keep on progressing to a finer sand paper until you get to around 1200 or 1500 grit. My friend has air tools that allow me to polish parts faster.

Sorry guys, but i don't plan on making a write up of the install. I still have to order me some gaskets for the IAC, TB, Valve covers and EGR. My Valve covers are leaking some oil.

Here is the look of the MEVI with 220 grit sanding done. I still have to work my way up to 1200 or 1500 grit before i start polishing for the great shine that looks like it's chrome. In the picture too is the modified MEVI cover. Tell me what i did if you can spot it.

Eric

MEVI polishing continues.......

It did took me awhile to get it the polishing done. I'm still not completely happy with the polishing. My friend's air powered buffing wheel broke so i had to do some hand polishing. When he gets it repaired, i'll repolish it. I still have to order the IAV, EGR and TB gaskets, also the the valve cover gaskets need replacing so i'll be doing that too at the same time. Hopefully sometime next month i can get this installed and working properly.

more pictures and my modified MEVI cover painted blue!!!
