95-96 Red/Clears=****ING INSANITY

It's gotten quite bad people:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2455424936

WITH 5 DAYS LEFT! Yes, I am the first bidder and pretty frightened at the aspect of finding a pair if this is what I'm going to have to spend (looks like a 97 rear conversion!).

For the love of god someone has to know: what kind of costs would be associated with just manufacturing these things for a short or long run? They HAVE to be produced, look at the profit possiblities.

I called some places and they told me a mold would run from 10k to 40k. Good thing I already have some red/clears

Paint the ambers red! Cheapest alternative, why spend $300+ dollars on mere plastic lenses when you can purchase something else that would benefit you more?

That e-Bay item is a perfect example of supply and demand.......
rip-off price = low supply + more demand
Why subject yourself to the insanity?

The molds for the all clears are out there, they were made, someone needs to get those, and **** just produce those, and we will paint them. All i have to say is, no tail light is worth that kind of money. I'll take all the flaming from you people with my altezzas before I commit a retarded and wasteful act.
