I dont have any experience with the ebay cai but if you do decide to get it and find out that is doesnt come with that long tube you can just go to autozone and get some for 99cents a foot. I have a frankencar intake and I love it

you can just put a breather on there instead of the hose. and then just cap off the hole in the piping where that hose would go.

its VERY hard to get water in an INJEN intake, because it's not a real CAI, the filter does not go into the wheel well

To add to the question about the Injen intake and weather problems... I have the injen "cai" and I am thinking about getting a body kit. is it possible to put those black guards back that attatch to the bottom of the bumper and run under the first foot foot and a half of the car. I was thinking about the skyline kit (please dont kill me) and dont want to have an open air filter that close to the ground if the guards cannot be used BTW im lowered to with GC (finger gap) thanks for the help and to add to this reply I love my Injen Technology CAI.
