Ok people I was driving in atlanta today with my buddy in his 98 gle with a cai. I pull up to this red light and a blue Toyota Cressdia pulls up next to us. He has a cool looking exhuast tip looks maybe like an apexi muffler. So my buddy rolls down the window to see if it sounds good and sure enough it had a nice deep tone. So as I look up the guy is stairing straight at us and I give him a nod of lets do it. Light turns green he is out of the hole really quick catches second gear and leaves us behind. Why did you people not tell me that they put the same engine in the Cressidas as they did the supra from 1989-1993. I know this because the guy told me that at the next red light. Plus I looked it up and its true. He had some cams put in, intake, header, apexi universal muffler. He says he runs low 14's 1/4 mile and around 6.8 0-60. I know I got killed but thats pretty cool another fast 4 door car.

they got a few of them in brooklyn with supra turbo engine, bov, headers the works. You should watch out for those.

 

I've see that car. I see him just about every morning on my way to work ! Its also lowered. I'm going to leave him alone for now on!

 

0-60 in 6.8 and q/m in low 14's. That sounds a little off. It's probably more like a low 15 q/m, which will still beat a GLE with just a CAI (Don't GLE's run high 15's?). Those Cressidas are pretty quick though.
