cleaned off my throttle body

well this weekend i had nothing to do, so i decided to take off my throttle body and clean it and see what its like in my intake maniflod, oh man was manifold dirty. i think i went throught around 10 rags to clean out my throttle body and the entrance of the manifold. I took my throttle plate off also and cleaned that, i didn't get to clean the mainfold that good, but i did best i could, one of these days im going to take it off and clean it completely when im bored out of my mind, well when i put everything back together, and test drove it, i was impressed, i had better throttle response, the intake wasn't as raspy, but more like smooth. well just thought i'd share that with u guys. it would be a good project for thoes who have that much time.

i wanted to do that but only took stuff off up to the throttle body. i wanted to take it off but that would have taken too much time and more things to unplug. maybe i'll do that next time.

well then i finished the job i started my car and my idle was at about 1300 when it got warmed up, but the reason for that was cause when i did the job i messed with the throttle cables and over tightend them, so when i got that fixed i was at around 600 so not really i think before the project i was at around 700 so slightly but im not positive on that.
