Best thing is, I'm using the stock Max tranny! It's gonna be sweet.
you had to change the radiator twice?

Ah dammit!

Here I sit thinking that I was being pretty smart. Guess that's why "Comedian" is not listed as my profession.

As far as used VQ prices, they seem very fair. Has anyone had any experience shipping a motor? I've been trying to figure that out but definite information is seemingly impossible to get. Cost? Residence delivery available?

shipping ha? good question I have the answer,

You will not get an engine delivered to your house so dont even try or call or trick the people selling it to you because it wont happen. If it does good luck because Tractor trailers are not allowed in some neigborhoods.

To order an engine it has to be shipped in a place of business with a loading dock or access to a forklift. I am lucky I have both at work so I just use the forklift get it off and rent a buddys truck and drop it into their truck. I then prep my garage with tires and slide it off the truck onto the cushioned tires. I grab my engine hoist, lift it up and bolted it up to the engine stand. I am done at that point.

try delivering it to a shop they should do it for free. If I am doing the labor for the engine then Ill take reponsibility into to not just dropping it into your car but getting it to my place.

Cost of shipping I paid $75 for shipping. Depends on distance some places may charge up to $200. Thats a price range for you work with.
