my friend paul (themax95) was going to do the 96-97 conversion which is basically the same as yours but he never did. it would range about $600.00. or maybe a lil more or a lil less depending on who u go to..
You also need to change your 95 rear bumper to a 97 because the 97 trunk hangs down further than the 95. **EDIT**: The 97 rear bumper costs around $100 and 97 trunk costs around $120. Installation and paint, lets say around $200. Then the gen2 altezzas which is at least $160 (on e-Bay). $580 total.....YIKES!!! That's a Technosquare or a JWT ECU!!!
I'd rather drop that money on performance mods. Or just save that money so you have it when something breaks down in your car. I dunno its just my opinion.

Just get rear-ended, then when you take your car to a body shop have them replace your smashed bumper and trunk with the 97 parts. Make the other party's insurance pay for it. Then all you'll have to do is buy the gen2 altezza.

1) Find someone who you really don't like
2) Have him/her follow you in a car
3) When their car is within ten feet....
4) Close your eyes
5) STEP ON YOUR BRAKES and hold it there
just make sure you have insurance and have your seatbelt on.
Good plan!!!

u can try the freeway rear end scan.. have a friend and yuo drive kidna close together in different lanes on the freeway.. have your friend on the lane just left of yuors.. when u come close to an offramp, so down so the car behind you is close.. have yur friend change lanes abruptly infront of you to make the offramp in time.. u being soo surpised by such sudden lanechangse, slam on your brakes and now u have a new rear end.
no i have never tried this.. someone told me about it and asked me to do it.i said no..

I can't believe I'm reading this. You're acutally thinking of a way to purposly get into an accident to change the rear. Do you know the potential risks that are involved, including death? I just watched american idol and I thought some of those people were out of their friggin minds. But this is flat out the dumbest thing i've ever heard. Talk about people being cheap to the extreme

Of course, everyone else is bright enough to know that its just an idea that noone is going to take seriously.
If this is insane, why dont you read about a member who's stereo got stolen, door handle busted, and window broken. He's planning a stakeout, search and destroy. When the thief comes back, he will never know what'll hit him til its too late. BTW, Texans take matters into their own hands as long as its allowed by the law. I'd like to see the car thieves around my neighborhood try messing with cars in Texas.
Chillax Tarzan!!! You cannot take everything you read online too seriously otherwise you'll end up in the mental asylum.
