JWT ECU/Auto Tran

I have a 95 auto and I would like to add a mevi to it so I would need to get a JWT ecu and have a 7200 rev limter so the mevi will make all the power it can.

The big thing is can I make my auto shift higher in the rpm's than it does now? If so, How.

I do not want to do a 5-speed swap if I do not have to.

Thanks for the help guys

Do you mean the tcu and ecu? I am going to get the ecu done by JWT so I will ask about that.Don't cattman have a tcu that they sell but it is made by JWT. Will that work?

You have to get someone to hack the TCM to make the shifts at 7k rpm or 7.2k rpm.

I also really don't understand why people with AUTO transmisions have the SHIFT_ sig. You're not the only one, not trying to pick on you.

Isn't SHIFT_ a Nissan slogan?, not something refering specifically to a manual shift.

Yes it is but some people use it in a way that it seems they mean shifting gears. In the commercial it says SHIFT_obsession, acceleration and stuff like that.

JWT offers TCU programs for Q's and other nissan/infinitys, But I really don't know if it is offered for the max. I'll search and try to come up with something.

I know that they do but can JWT hack into the tcu and make it shift higher like (7000 RPM's,7200 RPM's,ect) that will make it work great with the JWT ecu and mevi.

I've got a friend here in louisville that has a '94 Q45 with the JWT TCU with modified shift points, a JWT ECU programmed for 200 shot, and a 4:10 rear end(It's BAD A$$). He paid about 350-500 bucks IIRC for the TCU.

low 12's on street tires in the 1/4. last time we were at the track we couldn't get the solenoids to open. ended up being some kind of fusable link or something IIRC.

If your are getting a tranny from NRH, Rob can reprogram your TCU to shift higher.
