LED tails on 95-96?

Hey I'm thinking about doing LED tails on my car but since the tails are 95-96 and no one I think has made these before, I wonder if it would look funny.

Also how much do you think the stuff is going to cost all the board, good LEDs (not some cheap ****), and resistors?

BTW I painted my tails red so it might be an issue too.

I am in process...

Well, it cost me ...

So far...
Stock Tails off e-bay : ...................... $35
100 red 5mm LEDs from cwithk: ........... $21
(will get the rest of LEDs when settle on design)
______
Future purchase:
~80 white LEDs for reverse ................. $20
~120 red LEDs .................................. $28
RadioShack perforated board (4pc.) ...... $15
~40 LED caps ................................... $10

Total: .................................... $129

I would not say it is that an expensive project but yes, it IS time consuming!!
Also I plan to red out amber and reverse lights and just leave thin strings of white for LEDs to give white..
