And yeah I think this has been done but I could be wrong... Not a big altezza fan.

sorry the pic I'm trying to post a cheap photoshop of altezza's skylined modded, with the interior circle also painted in.

You can't paint the center of the circles cause those are your turn signals and reverse lights.

they would still light up, but not be reflective. The photshop looks a lil crappy, might look good in real life?? I know some people have painted the outsides already.....

you should be able to paint one of the inner circles, and then mod one of or both of the outer rings to blink once the turn signal i son, so it alternates on or off, or low blink and then full illumination the reverse lights you can probably do some custom modding somehow to get white leds in the same ring as the brake light, and make them light up white when ur reversing. food for thought.

I doubt they would "light up" versus glowing behind the paint which would be hard to see at night and impossible to see in the daylight.

Although very possible, but that's a lot work after purchasing a set $160 lights then having to open'em up. Hell if your going to open them you might as well just paint the chrome part body color and not worry about the L.E.D.s.

HUH? I thought he ment to paint the inside of the ring, not the outside, If your talkin about painting the outside of the taillight then nevermind what I said........
