lower idle???

lower idle???

Alright guys my car has been idlein' at about 1000 rpm and I really want it lowered and it's killing MPG. any help would be great. someone told me to reset my computer is this true? how would I do it manually? please help pics would help too

Bring the car up to normal operating temperature.
Turn off the engine and unplug the TPS.
Start the car and adjust the idle speed using the throttle stop screw until your around 600.
Turn off the engine, plug the TPS back in and you should be all set.

It would also be a great idea to clean your TB before you do this process.

I just cleaned out the TB that's what started all these problems unfortunatly

Happans to everyone.. My rpms still bounce around 1k then down then up on every light.. So just wait till it goes away it does for most people.
