Really, man, just put whatever on there that you would like. I personally think the best suggestion (so that it does not sound or look like crap) on this thread was to find a 4th gen muffler tip and buy it. I know they are out there. Maybe you could even go to a junk yard and get one. They just chop off the mufflers a lot of times and leave them out in the weather, but that should not affect the tip. I mean, all you would have to do is get some Mother's aluminum and all metal cleaner and it would shine again. That is my suggestion.
Good luck with that.

mdwst51, here is a start. Check it out and ask him if he has an exhaust tip you can get from him.

j/k get what you like.Tyrexx: Nothing personal, but you said a trenz grill has not been called rice, and a 6" muffler has.....??? So, something is rice because people say it's rice?
My first import that I modded was a '95 SE-R 9 years ago. You know how many times PER DAY people said $hit about my "rice burner" and my riced-out turtle. If what you are saying is true, then I am the KING of RICE

BigD: Welding a tip on won't change the exhaust note unless it is "resonated".

can we all just get along? rice is an opinion not a guideline... opinions are like buttholes every has one and they all stink, so get over it and let the man mod to his taste.

Dude, half these guys are asshats so don't listen to them. Go to a muffler shop. They will have a book with different tips ranging from small to rice. I had a 3 inch quality tip welded on to add a more finished look to my car. It doesnt do anything but look good but I'm pretty sure thats what you want anyway. Good luck!
how much did your 3 inch tip and welding cost?. can u see the outline of the real muffler piping inside the tip? i may go for a 3.5 inch one if i cant find a 350z one.
pics?
thanks..

Yo, they got a sale in Home Depot on those big *** buckets. What you can do is chrome it, cut out a hole on the other end and stick it on your mufler. You will spend most of your life looking for the guy with a bigger tip. LOL
Just to let everyone know, I am an *******, and my car has a RICE trenz grille. Mostly because I'm telling some guy not to embarrass himself by buying one of those ridiculous muffler tips I posted earlier. I agree, do whatever you want but you might regret getting a tip like the ones I posted.
like I said earlier, do what you like
